A Girl Needs Her Mama Then

    It’s an always and forever
    That should never end
    The one bridge when broken
    That should naturally mend
    Is there a worse blasphemy
In this world a bigger sin
    When a mothers pride
    Won’t let her daughter in
    Chorus
    Wherether it’s a crisis
    Or just a personal whim
When a girl needs her mama
A girl needs her mama then

    Forever to a broken relationship
Is never any kind of friend
    People sometimes die
    Opportunities always end
    Chorus
    Wherether it’s a crisis
    Or just a personal whim
When a girl needs her mama
A girl needs her mama then

    Regrets and wishful thinking
    Don’t make very warm covering
    And it gets even colder
    At the very end
    CHORUS
    Wherether it’s a crisis
    Or just a personal whim
When a girl needs her mama
A girl needs her mama then

    Mama throw your pride out
    And let your daughter in
This is one broken forever bridge
That its now time to mend

Wow! I'm super impressed. Wish I could comment more thoroughly now, but I'm going through it myself, as your song describes, Will return later to offer more positive comments. Just know that it hits right to the quick!! Pointed and accurate.

This has a country music vibe to it. I can imagine Carrie Underwood singing this. The second verse is weak and should be re-written. The third verse is strong and completes the lyrics. The last section is very good; it ends on a potent note. I would like to read a male version with a father and son angle.
