I hate this place and time
I'd like to burn it all away
But I'm trapped, yes I'm trapped
In this illusion we call life
If I can't make it all go black
Then let me put it all on ice

    Ooh Ooh
    Ooh Ooh Ooh

    Burden
    Burden of being
    Burden
    Burden of being...
    Here

I'm raped by my own mind
I'd like to make it go away
But I've found, yes I've found
That I can never really escape
If I could make it all go black
Then I could end all of this hate

    Ooh Ooh
    Ooh Ooh Ooh

    Burden
    Burden of being
    Burden
    Burden of being...
    Here

    Here where we are
    In this place

    Ooh Ooh
    Ooh Ooh Ooh

    I can't take it here
    In this place

    Another Declaration Of Pain!
Life seems to be hard right now, I just hope you can cope with it.
It's not worthless, only agonizing, threatening, even though there's plenty of negative elements in life available.
I decided to see also other ships at the horizon, not only those coming to blast their canons on us!
It's been worthwhile and it has worked out.

Your lyrics seem to be on the edge of Punk in the style of Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten.
Strong, angry lyrics, which certainly will find you an audience, as there are plenty of Angry Young Men around.
However, to take a bit of a distance (with some sarcasm /humour won't do these words any harm, might even strengthen them!
    Go for it!

Thanks amaryn. I'll take that all into consideration. I don't really listen to a lot of punk ( a little ) but I'd lean towards metal more for my music. Metal and hard rock. But like I've always said, my lyrics are O P E N to interpretation.
