    Soulless in black
    Shape of my mood
    No turning back
    Tilt of the room

    Pretty petty hate
    Loss of my mind
    Cannot concentrate
    While I'm confined

I shaved my head and sat in dust and ashes
I tore my shirt and searched for gas and matches
This has brought my world spinning off of it's axis
And I always thought nothing was certain but death and taxes...

    This is Monumental Suffering
From this there is no recovering

    Drenched in sweat
    Yet cold to the core
    I can never forget
    What regrets are for

    Solitude endangers
    When it becomes me
    All of you strangers
    With ears so hungry

I shaved my head and sat in dust and ashes
I tore my shirt and searched for gas and matches
This has brought my world spinning off of it's axis
And I always thought nothing was certain but death and taxes...

    This is Monumental Suffering
From this there is no recovering

    La dah dida dah
    Dida dah, dida dah
    La dah dida dah
    Dida dah, dida dah

    Can't hold my head up
Oh, but I'm so fed up
    With this pain I'm feeling
    Staring at the ceiling

    This is Monumental Suffering
From this there is no recovering

    La dah dida dah
    Dida dah, dida dah
    La dah dida dah
    Dida dah, dida dah

    La la la
    La la la

Love the chorus, and the la dah did a dah......it can be very harmonious(CS&N) or sarcastic.I assume it's the ladder.Your lyrics (on the songs that are written as a song rather than a reaction)are always spot on,clever, deeply crafted and no one could tell you different.(Oh they could........but what have they written.........)BIB when you write a good song,I can "hear" it.If I can hear it from just the printed words, that my friend is awesome.Even your worst songs are better than most people's best. You are a talent far beyond this site.Ironically if bands knew of the treasure chest of songs you have in your catalogue, they'd be fighting for them.(Or maybe I'm just in a good mood.......)

Thank you Doug. Sarcasm is ingrained in me deep. You are right. I sure wish some bands would take notice. I'm flattered by your words. Again, thank you.

If no one ever does they're either blind or stupid and just in case it happens, I'm making this 'selfie' post so that I can prove that I 'knew' that guy back when

This is totally perfect, that's the only thing left for me to say.

Wow! This is dramatic! How do you write this kind of stuff?

Thank you Teshka. I'm flattered. Lol.

Thank you Jim, I can't really explain how I write this stuff. It just sort of comes out of me. I sit down, open Notepad and pretty soon I have a finished song.
