"I'm the fallen deejay from...." - song name and artist request

Hiya,
Im looking for the identity of a song that i heard on the radio the other day. It sounds like it was from the mid 70s. Like a rock kind of country thing i suppose. Origin was United States.
The only lyric i can remember was "Im the fallen deejay from....." then the singer gives a radio station ID like "w o s e" but the last letter is repeated like a stuck record.

HA! That would be it. I cant believe i didnt even get the lyrics right to the only line i could remember!!
