I heard this song in-- out of all places-- the men's bathroom last month (June 2014) in Stavanger Airport as part of their bathroom's playlist. Unfortunately, a screaming baby competed for my ears' attention, but what I was able to catch of this pop song was a male vocalist, with the first part of the song sounding like maybe a mandolin or banjo playing. The second half featured lush violins. The only part of the lyrics I can remember is something like "her lips were red like the blood..."
My search on Google yielded Nightwish's "While Your Lips are Still Red," which is not it-- this was definitely more of an indie/chamber pop-sounding song.
Can anyone help identify this, please?
