    Default "Icon Morphogenesis"

    Becoming the anti archetypical
    Steadily reaching for the pinnacle
Upon the backs of the cynical
Fueled by all of these chemicals

    I'm mutating, I'm transfiguring, I'm in metamorphosis
Witness rebirth, this is the beginning... Icon Morphogenesis

Say goodbye to the old and draped
And then say hello to the golden state
The used up shell will fold and break
And what comes forth is bold and great

    I'm mutating, I'm transfiguring, I'm in metamorphosis
Witness rebirth, this is the beginning... Icon Morphogenesis

    Icon
    Morphogenesis

    Transmogrification
    Transubstantiation bliss
I will not falter in this alteration
    The beginning of... Icon Morphogenesis

I think this is a very interesting piece, but just food for thought. Do you think that your poem's message/idea will be understood for those that don't understand the vocabulary used? In my experience most people don't break out a dictionary when they are listening to music, so it passes through one ear and out the other in that case.

Yes teshka, well actually, this piece was written first. I then decided the verses might work kinda good for rap so I took the main verses and added another 8 bars to make it 16. I was just messing around and having fun.

@Cody, yes you have a point but I don't care. I'm not going to limit myself to writing "simple" lyrics because the average music fan is a moron. There is a genre of music (metal) where such vocabulary is used quite often. Thanks for your critique though.
