Default Song from mid-80's, male choir/high-pitched female voice

This is probably a tough one, as I don't remember even the smallest part of the lyrics.

I heard the song around 1984 (yes, it has been in my head for 30 years). Someone had it on a mix tape on a bus ride, so it must have been at least a minor hit at the time.

In the chorus, a male choir alternates with a high-pitched female voice. In fact, I recently heard some Kate Bush songs from the early/mid-80's and felt that it could have been her voice, but I don't think it actually is.

To give somewhat of a reference to what the chorus is like:
    Male choir: Dieuuu, Dieuuu
Female voice: Dah daaah daah dat dadaah
    Male choir: Dieuuu, Dieuuu
Female voice: Dah daaah daah dat dadaah
    And so on.

And no, they don't actually sing "Dieuuu" (I think), but this comes closest to the sound that I "recorded" in my head from that song, and the female sang actual words instead of "dah dah", but I don't remember any of it.

I would be shocked if anyone could figure out the song based on this description, but stranger things have happened. Thank you in advance!

That's exactly how I sing this song. Hopefully I'm right. Duran Duran- come undone

Bauer, I am curious to know the answer to your question.

This is a long shot, because EVERYONE knows this song. Still, the description makes me think of a Queen song--because of the "choir" and "female voice" reference (I think of tenor). Therefore, to respond and perhaps trigger other connections from others, I offer this . . . though it lacks the "Dah daaah daah dat dadaah" you describe:

I've been searching a song that matches with your description for many years. It was like:
Female voice: dada da da di dah
Black man choir: da dada da da di di
It repeated that many times. I remember my dad listening to it but he can't remember.
Good news: it was stored in my old computer a long time ago. Hard drive is the only hardware that stills work so I can manage to open those files and finally hear the song.

    Sorry for my english.

I'll try again with this one. Someone on YT said, "I've been looking for this recording for 25 yrs!" Someone else posted, "Love this song!!!! This song was used in Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo !!!!"

So far, I haven't heard the female voice, though.

Or this, apparently from the movie noted above:

Sorry for not replying earlier (I was somewhat cut off from the Internet) and thanks so much to all of you for trying, but none of these songs came close. That "Dieuuu, Dieuuu" is really long-drawn-out words that sound like the French word "dieu" (as in "god") to me, and it is sung by a male choir with low voices, which is then contrasted by that high-pitched (really really high-pitched!) female voice, which, unlike that male choir, sings something "meaningful". But sadly, I don't even remember a single word of the lyrics.

Ok, why didn't I think of this before? I created a rough representation of how I remember the chorus of the song in a sound file and uploaded it to Soundcloud.

(Sorry, don't kill me for how ugly it sounds - I didn't spend half a day in the studio to put this together )
Does that sound familiar to anyone?

    Dieu-Dieu is Jitterbug.
The high pitched female singer is George Michael.
