Like a Samaritan warrior im a bit out of place
When all I am is peace in a passionate space
People move way too fast like they’re lives are built on haste
Why not just slow the pace,
And be that turtle in the race
I played him once, and I guess the role stuck
It spoke to my soul on my harp strings it plucked
It taught me my mantra, to work smarter not harder
You’d be surprised what some patience will garner
Grow it like a garden and face towards the sun
The flare will provide the bullets to your gun
Don’t kid yourself though
Its not always fun
There are some down sides at time I feel lonely
Feel like the only blossom a stand-alone chelone
But it’s the price that we pay for extended breadth
An insurance policy even Charon cant wreck
So my boat doesn’t sail, no I float in my shell
Doing my best to be patient, on my road away from hell

Im fighting a battle just to keep me on a level
Between being a back burner or becoming influential
I feel it’s my time and there’s a niche in the market
Cus all I see is flint and tinder stressing just to spark it
But the verse is immense and sees no time for speed
On A’tuins back patience the one creed
learn to slow down and express real forgiveness
Stand up and take action, get into the business
Observe whats around you it can stun and astound you
But don’t be static in this ground that we move through
This world we live in isn’t lost,
Its just finding its feet
Step by step with composure
No time for retreat
You aint never seen a turtle back down cant stop me
Be afraid of my precedence, my clique and my moxie
Don’t mistake patience for sullen resignation
I just take my time to find, my purpose and designation
