Default King's Heralds - Ivory Palaces (words & music by Henry Barraclough),

Our men's quartet would like to sing this for a Spanish speaking congregation, following the arrangement used by the King's Heralds (PDF online at http://www.vop.com/site/1/Compositio...ry_Palaces.pdf ). I've found a translation of the "standard version" which includes 4 verses, of which only v1 and v4 are part of this arrangement, under the title "Ropaje Esplendido". However, that doesn't include the "Prelude/Epilog" verse(s):

    Love sent my Savior
    Down from His glory
    into a world of woe.
    Love made my Savior go.

Complicating matters is the matter of meter, so a loose translation is likely to be necessary, e.g. something like (?)

    Por amor fue mi Jesus
    desde Su gloria
    al mundo de dolor.
    Se le hizo ir aqui.

    Can you help?

    Thanks in advance,

    Maybe for the last line...

Hizo que [El] viniera, (or) Hizo que [El] llegara.

    Thanks... much appreciated.

    Currently we're leaning toward

    Dejando Su gloria,
    Fue El del cielo
    Al mundo de dolor;
    Lo hizo por Su amor.

or, "Hizo por Su gran amor." for the last line.
