I wrote this one about the current state of affairs here in England - generally the rubbish the media try to force-feed us and how we believe every single line of every single newspaper we read and the obsession of social media and how people feel the need to broadcast their everyday lives on sites such as Facebook. There's a few other bits in there too, all my own thoughts and views on today's life.

Thank God for X-Factor
For taking up my day
Its nice to have something
To help me turn away
Well I've got no privacy
My Facebook's on display
I dont want to leave the house
For fear of an affray

And I wouldnt mind this
If I could survive this

Now everybody's going crazy
For the latest story
Cant get away now
And its a tabloid, broadsheet
Glossy frontpage story
Somebody help me

Now I've got no reason to believe in charity
The tories say that nothing comes for free
Now its in the headlines
They make everything a disease
So hold your noses
Cancer gets you if you breathe

And I wouldnt mind this
If I could survive this

Now everybody's going crazy
For the latest story
Cant get away now
And its a tabloid, broadsheet
Glossy frontpage story
Somebody help me

And I dont wanna turn on the TV
Its just too scary
Now everybody's going crazy
For the latest story

Hear it on the radio
And now its on the TV
I read it in magazines
And on the BBC

Now everybody's going crazy
For the latest story
Cant get away now
And its a tabloid, broadsheet
Glossy frontpage story
Somebody help me

And I dont wanna turn on the TV
Its just too scary
Now everybody's going crazy
For the latest story
