I would again be grateful for a "real" translation. I can get the general idea from

    http://www.stixoi.info/stixoi.php?in...&song_id=42853

but it's not the same as a "real" translation ...

My apologies if I am asking for too many translations too frequently ...

Tonight my naughty girl I see you're in the mood
my lil mum, is there a good reason in your mind
    for such a sharp dressing

There is no other such pretty and coquettish girl in Athens
There's no other prettier girl than you in Pireaus

My doll please give a shy glance
cause your eyes are playful, crazy and scandalous
    and turn me on

My doll, where do you want us to go for your pleasure,
I'll spent all night with you and will stay wherever you want
as long as we're having fun
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

Thank you so much again, Amethystos. So let me ask you, in Ms. Bellou's version, did she change it to a woman speaking to a man, or did she leave the roles alone?

Also, I really like the slightly "racy" nature of this song - it kind of gives you an idea of what the original rebetiko songs were supposed to be like before they cleaned them up for wider consumption (like that song about bringing the girls to play and dance for some agha while he breaks out the pipe(s) they've brought him - I can't remember the name of that one right now, but you can still hear it played on the web stations.)

Oh yeah - and look at that - γλεντήσω is in this song also !

    Lyrics remained the same.
