Default Help with several songs I haven't been able to transcribe lyrics for over the years

Hi everyone. I'm MCSMeister, and I come from another music forum on the Internet. On that forum, I have a transcription thread where people can attempt to help me transcribe lyrics for songs I haven't been able to fully transcribe. However, not a whole lot of people help me there, so I can't get a variety of people's opinions on difficult lines in songs that can't easily be heard and transcribed. I'm hoping that can change here.

I ask for these 5 songs to be transcribed to start out. I have a backlog of songs I haven't been able to successfully transcribe yet, so I'll gradually post songs from it here if things go well.

Atlanta Rhythm Section - "Hitch-Hikers' Hero"
Fitz and the Tantrums - "The End"
Strawberry Alarm Clock - "Black Butter, Past"
Strawberry Alarm Clock - "I Climbed the Mountain"
The Trammps - "You Touch My Hot Line"

    Thanks in advance!

Default Starwberry Alarm Clock - I Climbed the Mountain & Black Butter, Past

    I Climbed the Mountain
    ----------------------------------
I climbed the mountain, I saw the otherside
and I can rest now, for I am satified
I saw a rich man, where each man had his share
I saw a free man with feedom everywhere
And there was peace in the valley
there was hope in the land
there was joy in the children
there was love, beautiful love in the heart of Man
I saw a schoolhouse, where every child could come
I saw a table, that welcomed everyone
I saw a city, that had no smoke to hide
I saw a prison, that had no one inside
And there was peace in the valley
there was hope in the land
there was joy in the children
there was love, beautiful love in the heart of Man
I saw the Lion, lie down beside the Lamb
I saw the white dove, alseep upon the sand
and I saw Ceaser give up his mighty throne
And I saw Johnny as he came marching home
And there was peace in the valley
there was hope in the land
there was joy in the children
there was love, beautiful love in the heart of Man
Yes And there was peace in the valley
there was hope in the land
there was joy in the children
there was love, beautiful love in the heart of Man

    Black Butter Past
    -------------------
I remember nights alone, where the streetlights glow would fill the room
Figures beat a native drum and played a song foretelling you
Sing a song, try not to utter what the night doth say
    Black Butter...
Look around the room you're in and pick out something you really need
Take it in your hands and touch it, if you strike it, will it bleed?
And if it cries you'll hear the cries and all the meaning of...
    Black Butter...
    -------------------------------

    Atlanta Rhythum Section
    Hitch-hiker's Hero
    -------------------------
You have seen him by the roadside,
    with a sun-striped inner will
He was one of them a Woodstock
He was there at Watkins Glen
    He's a hitchicker's hero,
    King of the highway
he has been around the world and back again.

Now the children gather round him,
and they ask him where he's been.
And they look at him with wonder,
and only wish that they were him.
    He's a hitchicker's hero,
    King of the highway,
and they would follow him to Hell and back again.

And the children there that see him
where the mountain dark and cold,
where the cars are few, if any,
he only wishes he was home
    of that hitchicker's hero,
    he's gonna keep on goin'
Knowin' not where he will be tomorrow.
    Hitchhicker's hero,
    gotta keep on goin'
    Hitchhicker's hero, Hitchhicker's hero,
Gotta keep on, gotta keep on goin'
    Hitchicker's hero,
    King of the highway,
    Hitchicker's hero,
    King of the highway,
He's gotta, gotta keep on goin'
    (whisper) Stick out your thumb

    ---------------------------------------------
    Fitz and the Tantrums
    The End
    ----------------------------------------
    Somethin's gotta get through
    if you wonna stay you
Need to find a place for me.
    You're always sayin' we're through
then turn around and say you
can see no one else but me.

    By my way, I've -
    I've been here before,
    it's a long way down,
it's cold there - end road.
    Stretch my wings out,
    break them way before
    strike these lonely days
    before they grow just -

End - all of our promises are truth
    we know we can't say
End - all of our promises are reckless games
    that we play

If I want to treat her like them other sneakers,
truly I would rule as King.
But not matter how I treat her
    She's always gonna linger,
on all the other boys but me.

    By my way, I've -
    I've been here before,
    it's a long way down,
it's cold there - end road.
    Stretch my wings out,
    break them way before
    strike these lonely days
    before they grow just -

End - all of our promises are truth
    we know we can't say
End - all of our promises are reckless games
    that we play (repeat)

There's no where to go just hangin' round
When everything we do keeps crashin' down
Seems the song we sung's gone out of style
We're twistin' our words when we know
    we have to -

End- all of our promises are truth
    we know we can't say
End - all of our promises are reckless games
    that we play (repeat)
    End.

    ------------------------------------------
    Trammps
    You Touch my Hot Line
    --------------------------
    I was a cold, cold man - well.well
and you can along, and made me understand - ohh...
I had the real outlook on life,
you took me out on the town. and you made it,
you made it work out right -
You touch me, you touch me

You touch my hot line, when you dance so fine
You touch my hot line, 'cos you really got down
You touch my hot line, 'cos you dance so fine
    You touch my hot line
    And now - and now-
Your warm and tender body in my arms (well, yeah)
The thrill and the chills of your charms
You start the flame, that made this iceberg melt
You warmed my body, oh, you showed me
oh you girl you are somethin else
You touch me, you touch me.

You touch my hot line, when you dance so fine
You touch my hot line, when you really got down
You touch my hot line, 'cos you're mine all mine
    You touch my hot line,
    and now and now,
    You touch my hot line

I had the real outlook on life,
you took me out on the town.
and you showed me, oh you really got down
You touch me, you touch me.

You touch my hot line, when you really got down
You touch my hot line, 'cos you're mine all mine
You touch my hot line, 'cosyou dance so fine
You touch my hot line, and now, and now
You touch my hot line, when you really got down
You touch my hot line, 'cos you're mine all mine
Well- get on down - shake it -
    love the way you move
    love the way you groove
    You dance so fine
    You're mine all mine
    Your warm and tender body
turns me on - yes it does
You touch my hot line, 'cos you're mine all mine
You touch my hot line, when you dance so fine
