Solved! yay!

This song has been driving me crazy for at least 5 years because I loved it.
It's a male vocalist that has a deep voice like Peter Murphy, but I don't think it's him.
It would be played on an alternative station in the 80's.
It is fast paced and the chorus goes something like this:
"whoa-ho, love, love, love, love, love is the love"

and then he says
"love is the love is love, love is the love is love"
and I think at that point some background female voices join in briefly.
I'm serious, this is a tough one because I can find stuff easily...help! and thank you!!
