Slow Pop Ballad...90s or early 2000s

I've been trying to figure this out for well over 10 years. The song is probably from late 90s or very early 2000s and is a pop ballad. It is a slow song, but has that overproduced, bubblegum sound that groups had back then.

I heard this song in a store. It sounded like that group M2M.....female voacalist.... The line I was able to hear was "Everyday.........every night.......I........" The word "I" was sustained over a long time and went down in pitch as it was sung.

The song is slow and melancholy.

Believe me, I have googled every variation on "everyday every night". Nothing. I am hoping someone will recognize these clues and know what I'm talking about.
