Default Looking for a rare female singer from years ago.

This one has been really bothering me, because it's only been like a few weeks since I watched it on youtube and already I can't remember the title of the song. I can't go under my internet history since it's not listed there. I even tried humming it on SoundHound, but that didn't help either.

This song was by a female singer. I would say it's a dream pop song, almost similar to Shades Of Cool by Lana Del Rey, but much older. Both songs sounded very James Bond like to me. I think the title mentioned something about kill or die. It could've been "possibly" considered and rejected for one of the James Bond movies(not sure the exact movie)but it was definitely one of the Pierce Brosnan films. So I'm thinking the song came around the late 90's. I say this because someone mentioned it in a youtube comment while I was listening to an alternative 007 theme. I remember going on the wikipedia page to find some info about the artist and it didn't seem like she had that many songs.

    Here's the catch:

It's not listed anywhere under the rejected/unused james bond songs, even if you go under wikipedia as far as I know, so I wouldn't bother, unless you guys know another source that has more songs.

The title of the song is not named after any of the movies.

Hope any of you can help out, good luck on finding it lol.

No not that one. It's sort of like that though, the background music is almost similar.

"Sour Times" always reminds me of Mono - Life in Mono.

It's not that one either. I could be mistaken about the late 90's. It's possible it was around the early 2000's or 99 when The World Is Not Enough came out.

A lot of possible Bond songs are discussed here.

Still not any of those. I'm certain the title had "kill", "die" or something to do with gun shooting. This might be difficult because the artist wasn't probably a well known/household name.

There have been numerous artists rejected as the performer of the actual songs from James Bond movies and also numerous songs rejected or not included in the final production of the movies (see attached link).

Based on your description possible candidates are:

"Tomorrow Never Dies" by Swan Lee
"For Your Eyes Only" by Blondie
"Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" was recorded by both Shirley Bassey and Dionne Warwick but neither versions were used in "Thunderball"
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

You don't mean Gladys Knight - Licence To Kill or do you? Actually too known and too old ...

Still not any of those. I checked that playlist before awhile back and the song title is not the same of the movies, I've heard them all before.
