    Default Christmas Tree

I beleive the title of the song is Christmas Tree. It starts out"Hey Bob,Betty,Jim grab a seat and all sit down." I goes in the format of the 12 days of Christmas. It counts down after you add another part of the song.
"Christmas tree, candy free, oh what a merry christmas party oh what a merry christmas tree" Thats about all I have. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    Chad

Thanks for the help. My family loves that song, but we have lost the album. If you could get me the album title and who the song is by, etc. it would make my family's Christmas. It has been several years since we've had it. Look forward to hearing from you!

The album is called "The Voices Of Walter Schumann-The Voices Of Christmas (RCA Victor LPM-1141, 1955)". He had another album with either the same title or something similar. This is the exact one in which you are interested.

    Default Christmas Tree

    Hello...
I am also looking for a recording of this song for my older brother. However, I am sure that the one my family had was a firestone or goodyear Christmas compilation. I am looking for this LP or a copy of it. Can anyone help me? jwneiderhiser@yahoo.com

    Thanks,

The lp should be easy enough to find; ebay, etc. If softcopy is ok, go here:

Ernie (Not Bert): I'm Hearing Voices

Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas

Chad, I'm back... just got the album from my folks and burned it to cd. Scratchy bacause of the use, as expected. Logan is right about the album name.

    The tracks are

Side 1: Sleigh Ride, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, The Christmas Song, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, What Child Is This, Rise Up Shepherd and Foller, The First Snowfall, Fum Fum Fum, and Christmas Tree (the song in question from the original post).

Side2: Christmas in Killarney, The First Noel, Frosty the Snow Man, HHark! The Herald Angels Sing, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, Lully Lully Lu, Christmas Gift, C-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s, Go Tell It on the Mountain, Christmas Chopsticks.

I'm going to use some editing software for the scratches & stuff to see if I can clean-up the sound some.

    Default different version?

one of my friends had this song on a tape growing up but it wasn't walter schumann or Derric Johnson's Vocal Orchestra...it was a guy with a thick accent. more of a comedy type of kids recording than either of these. i've been trying to find it for years. anyone know of it?
