هيدي عم احكيلك فصه بشعه كتير وحلوه كتير

بس هيك بتصير عن حالي

هيدي قصه معقوله كل يوم بتصير وبتصر كتير
This is believable story, everyday it happened and it happened a lot
واسمعها ارجوك كرمالي
And listen to it please for my sake!

يمكن انا هيي البنت اللي مفكر في
Maybe I am not that girl you think that I am!
بس شي اني رح فل رح تتندم عليي
But as soon I would leave, you would come to rue me!

ويا سلام علي بكرا يا سلام
And Oh, really! What about tomorrow?! Really! (I think that Ya salam; really here means more like interjection sign, like seriously, are you kidding me? Even so I am still thinking about better translation!)

رح تخلص ولا بد ما بينوضعلها حد

ما فينا الا نعد ونعد
We can’t do anything except to count and count!

وبالايام شو ضيعنا ايام

وبالاحلام شو كبرنا احلام
And through dreams, how many dreams we kept growing!

قللك قلقانه وانت تفوت تنام
