    Post Traveller

The song title is a work in progress, I just don't have a name for this song yet
I digress, here are the lyrics - imagine a sort of slow prog/progressive rock ballad (No Quarter by Led Zeppelin, Echoes by Pink Floyd etc.)

    The Traveller
    Verse 1
    And even though I'm certain
Like all wounds they will fade
You burrowed deep in to my mind
And I'll never be the same

The Keep, my brain, you lived in
    Is rotten at the core
    But memories you planted there
Help stop the sickness spreading more

    Chorus
    You wore my skin
    Now wear your own
    Let's meet again
    When we are whole

    Verse
We never cut the roots away
    The sickness spread too quick
You hung on from a vein or two
But the pain, it made you sick

You climbed right out and told me that
    You needed a new home,
You left my mind all broken and
    You made off all alone

    Chorus

Middle 8/instrumental/solo/breakdown type thing that lasts for ages

    Verse
    Cauterised and healing
I'll wear my scar with pride
    Memories will sweeten
When recalled in the right frame of mind

But if you plant another castle
Its roots to you I'll climb
Wait up at the tower top
And I'll tend my brain this time

    Instrumental to coda/chorus/not decided yet

What do you think? Any feedback, constructive or not, will be read. Thanks!

I think your's lyrics is very good, I like your idea and really like chorus.
Unfortunately I can't suggest how to make it better, cuz I new at lyrics.
