Identify Pop/alt song late 90's early 2000'

It was a song I use to listen to a lot in the early 2000's with a friend in The U.S. Could be early 2000's or 90'.Some what pop punk some what alt rock. The only lyrics I remember for sure in th song are "museum" might be In a line along the lines of "sitting alone In a museum thinking of you"(don't think that's quite it). And the only other lyrics I remember are "Simon and garfunkle". It is not a song bySimon and Garfunkle it just mentions them. As to some of my difficulty ringing the song. Thanks in advance!
