Default Trying to find a christmas song

If anyone can help with this I'll buy you a pint.

I remember I used to sing a christmas song in school a good few years ago and I remembered a little of it this week and I can't find anything at all on it.

It's partly Spanish and partly English I believe and definately has the word "Bambino" in there somewhere.

also the lyrics "To you and all of mankind"and "oh (something) can you hear, many years ago"

Strange request I know but it's been annoying me for a long time now. Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance.

Bambino is an Italian word meaning 'child'.
Are you sure the song was in Spanish?

My wild guess is "Castaway" by Bonnie B. Blues Band

Let me tell you, how I feel
    I feel, like a castaway
Let me explain, how hard is life
Rough and tough on this very day

I need rest, in my soul
    I need love, liberty
The world's in need, of justice
Peace for you and all of mankind
I want to reach out baby
    And give you this song

I want to reach out baby
    Give you all, all along

    God, give me a chance
To give the love, I never had
    He, gave me the force
To use the freedom I now have

The world, is full of greed
People stay in their golden homes
Their wallet closed, with a lock and key
How can't they see what's going on

I want to reach out baby
    And give you this song
I want to reach out baby
    Give you all, all along
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

No it wasn't that one, it must be Italian then pardon my ignorance. I'm also positive it was a christmas song, at least it was religious anyways.

Thank you for trying though, it's bothering me so much I might take a trip back to school to find out.

    Thanks again.
