All I can remember is the phrase (which sounds like) "See the angels, hear the choir" (I think)
There is a line ending, woman's voice, that sings in a rather prolonged , drawn out note, "Everywhere...
I heard parts of this song twice in the winter of 1976 (Yeah, 40 years ago)
The everywhere lyric is sort of the answer to the angels..choir lyrics sung earlier in the chorus. I believe it was in a 4 line stanza.
I don't have much more. I wish I could be eloquent in my recitations.

Again, thank you. One thing puzzles me after 40 years, though. Was this recording made prior to 1978, because I heard it in the winter of 1976 and that is a certainty. The person with whom I drove at the time, moved at the end of 1977 so I could not have heard it with him. It's funny, but the Strawbs have a Winter Song, but it is quite different.
