Late 90s Music Video

This has periodically been driving me nuts for many years now trying to remember the song that goes with this music video.

I really can't remember the song, or the lyrics. Just that I think it was a rock song. It wasn't a top of the charts song, but it played on VH1 occasionally. The only thing I remember is the music video itself. Not everything but a good bit of detail.

The video is of a girl fighting with her boyfriend, and he is presumably ignoring her the whole time. Then she leaves and he runs after her. She dies, I can't remember if she was in a car driving and it crashed, or if she was just hit by a car. Then it's revealed that her boyfriend wasn't ignoring her, but was dead and it was his spirit. Then the two ghosts walk off together at the end.
