Solved: Sample Included, Rave-sounding but calm, techno-rap song played at Homecoming

I'm looking for a techno song that was played at a homecoming dance in the United States. It was a techno song, and between every instrumental part (which played for about 30 seconds) there would be some lyrics, which I couldn't make out... It sounded something like "I'll be gone once again", but that is probably completely wrong.

Anyways, the instrumental part of the song sounded something like this, with the same four notes, except they were all the same length, a little bit longer (maybe 0.4 seconds each), and were more of a deep and less "futuristic" sound than is on this mp3 file.

(I'm pretty sure) Those four notes were repeated about 5 or 10 times as the main part of the song. This main part of the song was played over about 3 times.

Again, this was a rave-sounding but calmer song, which I just can't find anywhere.

I found the song! I googled "techno rap songs", and the first result was "Pursuit of Happiness" by Kid Cudi. That was actually the song!
