SOLVED:Indie song from late 80s / early 90s

Hi everyone,

I could with help tracking down the artist(s) that recorded a song in around the late 80s / early 90s, I don't know the title I've just got some of the lyrics, it was on an old cassette and the sound quality was very poor. The vocalist was, the group might well be British, but not sure.

The lyrics include :-
