    Question Hip hop/rap song

Well all i can remember about the song is that he keeps repeating something like "i remeber how you used to be" and "in loving memory of..." and its a tribute song to someone who obviously died. I hope that helps, I'm looking for the artist and the name of the song, but just the artist would be fine

Right lets start by you answering the following.

    1. Does it mention 2pac (Tupac Amaru Shakur) or the notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace)?

    2. Does it mention Big L?

    3. Is it a recent song?

EDIT: If you are thinking of the alicia keyes song thats not it, its all men and i think the song doesnt mention Big L

None of those were them but thanks for the suggestions. I remembered earlier today that in the song, they talk about a guy who died (like i said before) and some chick killed him while he was sleeping or something along those lines. I also am sure that there is no FEMALE artist in the song. Hope that helps, thanks for all the help so far
