SOLVED:I'm losing my mind trying to remember this!

Please help! This pops into my head all the time & I either need to figure it out or go insane.

I had a CD a long time back; probably over twenty years ago that was done by a pretty decent band who's name I CANNOT remember! I need help so I can get the band's name & try to find the CD again or at least find some peace of mind.

This will sound odd, but if anyone out there knows the song I'm talking about it'll be familiar. The only song I can remember at all (& I'm virtuallly positive) is entitled "Whatsthematter?". Yes, I'm sure it's all one word & I'm 99-plus% certain that's the title of of the song I remember. The song has a fast beat & I think the band had four members.

The chorus of the song is (I'm not positive these lyrics are absolutely correct but I'm sure they're close):

"Whatsthematter? Whatsthematter? Are you lonely?"

"You take all my dreams & scatter them around me."

"What does it matter anyway?"
(Repeat 2 or 3 times)

The line above is sung something like this:

"What does it matter any-way-ee-ay-ee-ay-ee-ay? Any-way-ee-ay-ee-ay-ee-ay?"
