This is a country probably from the 70's maybe early 80's.
I know some of the lyric:

"He was a cowboy singer a drugstore western swinger, he had more women than most of us cowboys knew.."

also, "he kept singing those songs, those sad songs, loving those women and treating them wrong... until one of them midnight beauties would turn him loose...
