Mid 90s native american pop(?), dreamy, child saying something

This song is stuck in my head for nearly 20 years

It was some kind of an native american pop track with vocals of an old (native american?) man saying something and at some point it gets very dreamy with a childs voice saying something. In my memory i used to see this music video around the mid 90s. In the music video there were a lot of great landscape shots and and older man.
