Mazonaki!!
Mazonaki!!
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
I'm still stuck in the γαλανά μάτια!!! LOL!! Can't move one!
And yes, I knew κίτρινο from that exact song! Which by the way, is NOT sung by Mazonakis!!! That, in case you were preparing to wonder!!!
We know that
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
You two are making fun of me!!!! I'm learning here, working hard and what do I get on return?! HA!
LOL!!!
Keep going, I have absolutely no problem with this!
I'm just starting to wonder, what will be the classics in Greek music 50 years from now... Mazonakis and Vandi with "amanes"? Mixalis Emirlis " I pipa tis Eirinis"?
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
lol, but it's a FACT philadelphia... Last year when I had Modern and Ancient Greek, I FORGOT how the Norwegian word was for a lot of things.. Me and a classmate, could sit there.. what's the word in Norwegian, what is it!!!
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
In Greek as you know "γλώσσα" means "tongue" AND also "language"
The Greekism : "μπερδέυτηκε η γλώσσα" literally translates to "the tongue got tangled" and means "tongue - twist" ... when you go to say something and the tongue gets "brlbrlrlrlrbbrllrd" .... lol ....
hahaha, I know what you are talking about We say "krøll på tunga" here, and it's literary translated " curl on tongue" .
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
We, too, have the same word for tongue and language. Needless to list all the puns that arise from here!!!!LOL!!!!
dya where are you from really? If I'm allowed to ask
Ax... I leave very soon.. Going to work!
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
... and YES! ... that kind of thing happens A LOT with people that learn a "third" language ... lol ... I say "third" because THAT IS WHEN THINGS GET ALL TANGLED UP!!! ... With the "fourth and so on I would imagine it's ok ... !!!
No ... that's a wrong comment to make ... I find that it ONLY gets EXTREMELY confusing when I am trying to learn a "FOREIGN" language at a "FOREIGN" location ... for example, learn "SPANISH outside Spain" ... meaning, I need to be "WITHIN" the "home of the language" ... or 2ith "natives" of the language ...
This ofcourse, is my experience as I "grow older" ... as a child I learned languages with GREAT ease ... Greek and English at first, ... then later on some Italian and more French ... whenever I had the opportunity to "live" atleast for a while ...
Of course you're allowed to ask, Omorfi. Actually I mentioned it before, at my beginnings on this forum. I'm from Romania.
omorfi mou .... all these other people are going to be so happy to see you again ... ... an "Aphroditian" Libran 9 .... ...
even if I am sorry to see you go ... I am happy for them, that they'll have you ...
By the way, I LOVE getting to know different "things" from languages ... so, your own "language-isms" respectively , are GREATLY appreciated by me ...
Well I guess that's the best way to learn a foreign language of course...
I have had German, French and Spanish in school.. But what do I remember really? Most is gone from my head now, even though I did very well in languages.
The first Greek I learned was actually as a child, at a beach in Skiathos. I was playing with some Greek kids and they kept saying "pws se lene??", and they said "me lene.. something". And then I replied "me lene Alexandra", and we were together there a while
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
I can't remember that you were from Romania, but now I know
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
Philadelphia I don't know if they are so happy to see me, they don't remember very well
And if you ever wonder about something else when it comes to Norwegian, just ask me
"Ποιος ταξιδεύει στα μάτια σου;
Και ποιός ξαγρυπνά στο κορμί σου;
Μάτια μπλε στα μεγάλα ταξίδια σου
Θα'μαι εδώ θα'μαι πάντα μαζί σου"
OOOOOOOOOHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!
... hahahahahahahaha ... that was EXACTLY MY OWN "experience" of "foreign languages" , only reversed ... hahahahaha ... "children from abroad coming to our island for holidays" .... hahahahahahahaha
