Does someone have an idea about the title or the artist that performs this song (I am not sure about whether the lyrics are 100% correct, so even if you think you know a song with similar lyrics, please tell me) The vocalist is female with sensual voice and she sings the refrain in french.

The song is by Mono and it's called "Life in mono".

The word "ingenue" does come from the French "ingénue" - "artless, naive girl, especially on the stage" (from Latin - "ingenuus"), but it exists in English. :P
