So, I am afraid that you need to learn your nouns with "their" ... "articles" so you know the "gender" ...
Nonetheless this simple "rule of the thumb", as it were, "endings" business can give a basic, elementary indication of the "gender" of a "noun" etc. ...
@)
"μα έλα που" is an "ADVERSATIVE" ... as it is called in "grammar"
the ONLY way I can explain is with examples ...
So, ...
... THAT's WHY I gave you the "endings" ...
As a GENERAL RULE, you can tell which "gender" it is, by the "ending" ... !!!
You see ?!
... "adversative" meaning is like ... something needs to be like one way, YET it is like another ...
... I must take my medicine, μα έλα που I hate pills ... !!! ...
or,
... I must go on a diet, μα έλα που I love chocolates ...
... I must go to sleep at night, μα έλα που I like the quietness ...
(the last two examples are "private and personal" ... LOL LOL ... )

I got it!! I identified the romanian counter part!! So, the entire expression is :μα έλα που ! It is to be used as a whole.
... yeah ... it's an expression ... yet another "Greekism" ...
In Greek, the "order" in which words go, is NOT as strict as in English ...
... so, (to respond to your "number 4" inquiry) ...
a fine example of this would be "Gearge Loucas" films of "Star Wars" ?!?
... there is this short, odd-looking "thing" called "Yoda" ... a wise, old "master" of the Force ...
I know that word order it's not so strict, but if you are to say I love you so much, you would use this order: σ'αγαπώ τόσο πολύ .
If you want it to sound more emphatic, you'd say τόσο πολύ σ'αγαπώ , right?
... George Lucas, has "him" talk in a very odd, "back-to-front" way ... (for the English language it is a definite "NO - NO" !! ) ...
.. yes, you are right ... but then it would mean that it is a "secondary sentence" ...
"I will bring you the stars, THAT'S HOW MUCH I love you" ...
Not necessarily. You could use this order τόσο πολύ σ'αγαπώ as a rsponse to something nice the other said to you. Like a dialogue: one says something nice and the other, as a response to that, says: τόσο πολύ σ'αγαπώ !!!!!
Right?
... yes, exactly ... it would be "secondary" to the phrase that the other person said ... literally, "complimenting" it ...
... it does NOT stand on its own ... it "needs" the "support" of "a reason" ...
In romanian you could use this exact word order τόσο πολύ σ'αγαπώ in a dialogue like this (usually, between parent and child):
The parent would ask: How much do you love me?
The child, opening his arms(like as to show the size of his love) would say :τόσο πολύ σ'αγαπώ !!!
