    By the way,

... πάλει μία φορά ... has NO "verb" in there ... so, from THAT alone, is wrong ...

πάλι ... well, you already know, I am sure ...

... for the life of me, I can't make sense of the "verse" ... !!! ...

The ONLY thing I could think of I have already mentioned ... leaning towards ... σ' αναπαύω, καρδιά μου, σε βάζο ,,,

    ACTUALLY ....

    maybe it is ...

... θα σε βάλω, καρδιά μου, σε βάζο ...

would that "sound" CLOSER to what you hear him sing ?!?

It's definetely NOT that. I can hear the "word" pola, but I don't know if it stands for itself or is part of something else. The entire expression definitely ends in "a". So it's not a first class verb, if it is verb there; then again it wouldn't make sense if it wasn't, right?
It close to(now I'm not sure about the first sound!!) so...XXXX na pola?!?!?!

... no, there is nothing I can think of, from what I "get", that would make any other "sense" ... !!! ...

    By the way,

... μια ζωή στη ζωή σου θα μηνώ ...

    quite bad ...

the "verb" is : "μένω" = "to stay" , "to reside"

.. and in its "future continuous tense", it is : "θα μένω"

but in its simple "future tense", it is : "θα μείνω"

    ...

You know what? It's late and you've already lost enough time for this line. Just leave it like this. In the end it's just a verse and my learning of greek won't suffer if I don't understand that one. I've learned others from this song, so the mission is accomplished! If I'll ever realise what he actually says there, I'll tell you....

Meanwhile, thank you for all the answers for this subject. And for the trouble of opening a new thread, and for the other mistakes you signaled in the text. All you wrote was of great help, as usual!

    Και συγνώμη παλί....

I'll post a new song tomorrow but you can choose to ignore it.....

    Καληνύχτα....

κι αν μα έρθει η στιγμή
    που με δίωξης εσύ

simply to make a correction of an accent ... when, we have two vowels together, side by side, the accent goes on the "second" one ... this is just a general rule ...

so, δίωξης with this "ending" (although, in Modern Greek you would write "δίωξη" , OR the archaic form of "δίωξις" ) ... AND THIS "accent" would mean a "noun" ... (= "persecution" , "chase" )

    Lightbulb Symantics ...

... was just on my way to bed, when I realised I have left things "unclear" in here ... about how it felt, I mean ...

... you see, I absolutely "detest" the "shadows" ... I always seek for the most "clear communication" possible ... that is why, I guess, I spend so much time "explaining" something (when I am "talking") ...
... I want to make sure that the person, or persons, I talk to, ARE "ON THE SAME PAGE" , as the English would say ...

... meaning, that we ALL understand the SAME thing ... that's "Semantics" ... YET another Greek word, that derives from "σημαντικό" (/ simantiko) , which ACTUALLY means : "significant" , "important" .... !!! ...

... and THAT is what I mean ... it is very important to me, that we "mean" the "same" thing ...

... and in order to do that, "well-defined" explanations are needed ...

... and therefore, I need to "explain" how I feel ...

    so, ...

    Καληνύχτα....

... this particular "post" I felt was ... "uncalled for" and quite "un-necessary" ...

... it made me "sad" and "upset", because I felt I was being "cordial" and "affable" ... throughout and with everyone, in this "Greek Lyrics Translations" forum ... or, atleast, I would like to think I tried my very best to be "warm" and "helpful" ...

... I, SPECIFICALLY, chose THIS name, to represent what I feel I am about ...

and now, I feel I lost the JOY this "name" gave me ...

I wanted to say "thank you" (in all the languages I learned from you), for all that I learned and received from you all ... you were, extremely generous with your OWN selves ... and I am grateful to you for that ...

    Νά 'στε πάντα καλά !!!
