Looking for an old song, no lyrics, just a trumpet

I think it's pretty well known, but I don't remember where I've heard it from. It's probably been around 10 years since I first heard it.

On piano the notes are: e d c b a d bcd g (on one scale) with the spaces representing the time between the notes.

for me - not being a musician - it is hard to even imagine what it could be.
