The watchmen cried out
The warning fell on dead ears
And so the ship sank
The stories disappeared

Winter wept that night
At such a sight
The cold dark sea
As far the crow flies
Swallowed all

Some dreamt of treasure
Others still of fame
But they were all the same
Voyagers to another world

Winter tore her hair
As if without a care
In the world
The wind howled
And blew on
