heya, last night i heard a song this song but dunno what its called
its basically made up of the bits jamie fox sings in kanye wests gold digger but theres no rap in it and its slightly faster.

You probably mean "I Got A Woman" by Ray Charles. Several cover versions exist as well.

yes i thought it was 'i got a woman' too but it must be a remix or something cos it was a lot faster

There's a band from England called The Automatic that has a cover of Gold Digger on their Myspace page, more of a rocked-out sound, but it could be what you heard. If that's not it, happy hunting!
