There is a 90's or 80's song i dont know the name or the artist (its a women, probably black) and i am looking for this song for a long time. Its goes something like this:

the chorus is something like that: I (very long) am ... ... can't you hear me and I (againg very long I)...

and the rest of the song I dont really know but i remember those lines:
