Dya girl, I've been DYING to hear from you, sneaking peaks on the computer at work between patients.

One hour and 15 mins left to go on this shift, then a 40 minute drive home, so I will be my own person again in about 2 hours.

Can't wait.

I really want to respond to Azim. You have no idea how much his post meant to me. I can't wait to tell him.

I really have to run so I won't be here late. Not much in here now --

1. 42 year old drug seeking female with back pain
2. 76 (?) year old female with dementia. We don't know who she is. Neither does she.
3. 4 year old Hispanic boy with an earache. Parents are non-English speaking.
4. 20 year old male with blood in his urine since Oct. 23rd 06. He has been here three times for the same problem, and has never gone to the urology specialist, despite referrals.

Think I can finish in 1 hr and 15 mins? If there will be a message from you when I get home -- YOU BETCHA!!!!

And I really admire you for your work, I cannot stand blood(not even my own) and I HATE hospitals(I cannot be in one οn my own ,without someone I know with me, or else I start thinking that something will happen to me and they will have to keep me there). If someone wants to torture me he/she can leave me all by myself in a hospital

For the Greek part of your greeting, δεν νομίζω ότι υπάρχουν και πολλοί Έλληνες που να είναι πεσιμιστές (pessimist)(αν βρεις κανέναν θα πρέπει να τεθεί υπό παρακολούθηση ως είδος ανύπαρκτο ώς τώρα). Άσε που το θεωρούμε και αρκετά βλακώδες, άσκοπη κατανάλωση φαιάς ουσίας / ενέργειας. Την ίδια ενέργεια μπορείς να σπαταλήσεις πίνοντας ούζο ή κρασί (ίσως είμαι η μοναδική Ελληνίδα που δεν της αρέσει το ούζο )

Oh and azim no one forgets Cyprus (who did that να παω να τον πλακώσω )

Azim, silent tears rolled down my eyes as I read your words of welcome; I feel inside my heart that you are like a brother to me. Tzina, I LOVE your energy, and I have been touched by it. Unfortunately, destiny has brought an event into my life that precludes my being able to join you. It is an event that MUST be dealt with, and I must deal with it alone.

I have seen the beauty in all of you, and I have felt the beauty in me acknowledged. Such a gift, παιδια, such a gift. It will help me "cope" in the coming years, and for that, I thank you with all my heart.
