I remember a LOOOONG time ago there was a song which I assume was called 'Stepping Stones'. Anyway, they played it heaps on the radio about 5 years ago, and then all of a sudden I never heard it again.

I tried looking it up on the net, but I keep getting completely different songs.

Heres what the lyrics sound like (to the best of my knowledge)

Maybe you are talking about "Stepping Stone" by the Monkees? It's quite old, someone else could have covered it, but this is the original one.
