Help with a new song post-hardcore, pop/emo

I heard this NEW song on the radio that was probably post hardcore or alternative, kind of in the style of All American Rejects;
i dont remember much of it, but i think some of the lines were 'should have known what you were thinking 'or 'what we were thinking' or it could also be 'should have known what he was playing' and the last lines to me, sounded like, 'covered in bullets' maybe 'showered with bullets' idk, maybe it wasnt that at all

sorry for the lack of information, but hopefully someone out there knows.
