    having a school dance next week, im in charge... i need some good "retro" songs you know i was thinking john lennon stuff... someone help me out or at least direct me on the right track

    I don't know that John Lennon made any "dance" tracks... The title of your post was "70's song ideas." When I think 70's dance, I'm thinking FUNK music. GAP band, Rick James, George Clinton, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool and the gang, stuff like that... Those are my ideas

    Check out the dazed and confused soundtrack. theres tons of good songs rock songs on there also the almost famous soundtrack who listens to john lennon at a dance?
