    Hola Laura,

below is the translation for the song that u requested (yedrab il hub),
u wanted to recognize the difference of the iraqi accent, unfortunately!
u picked up a song where Kazem al saher sings in Lebanese accent!,isnt it ironic??!

Btw, this song is not that popular, and there are many great songs for kazem al saher,i recomend that u listen to "Ana wa Layla","Madrasat al hub"
both for kazem al saher and its sung in formal Arabic but they are great, both songs earned many prizes and sung in many international festivals.

u can try "Ma nisetak" for Adil Ugla, its so touchy and i think u gonna like it.

u`ll find the iraqi accent is close to the farsi, we have alot of common words and common culture, due to the geographic and historic factors between Iran and Iraq.

enjoy ur song, and be sure that i`m ready for more.

    Take care,

Yedrab il hub Damn the love (Kazem Al saher)

Yedrab il hub sho bee zil, yedrab il hub\ damn the love its so humiliating!, damn the love\litteraly,yedrab means to beat , to hit

Mabnishba minnu w manmil, yedrab ilhub\ we can not get enough of love neither get bored from it.

Ala keefu byethakim feena,\simply controls us
be dahikna, be bakeena\makes us laugh, makes us cry

Illi ajbu yendam lena, wili mish ajbu yfil,\if u like it(love) come and join us, if u don’t,just get out (leave us)

Yedrab il hub sho bee zil, yedrab il hub\ damn the love its so humiliating, damn the love

Yedrab il hub w jnunu,ya ala`eebu wifnunu\damn the love and its madness, damn its tricks and arts!

Wili behawil ykhunu\if someone tries to cheat on it

Il la`ana aleh bit`hil\will be cursed forever!

Yedrab il hub sho bee zil, yedrab il hub\ damn the love its so humiliating, damn the love

Min fekum yertah blelo Ila w ala sadr khalilu
\is there anybody who sleeps the night peacefully, without having his lover in his arms?!

Bee ghaneelu w ynagheelu\and sing for her and lullaby :

Ya habeebi ya seed il kil\oh baby,my everything (seed il kil litrally means :master of all!

Yedrab il hub sho bee zil, yedrab il hub\ damn the love its so humiliating, damn the love

Yedrab il hub w saata\damn the love and its hours

Ma ahla fee kil halata\its amazing in all its states

Fee dihkatu ,fee damaatu\in tears, in laughs

Hwa habeebna w seed il kil\its our beloved and everything
Yedrab il hub sho bee zil, yedrab il hub\ damn the love its so humiliating, damn the love

    Hallo Addossha,

thank you for the translation. Sorry that I have taken so longin aswering, but I was out over the weekend with no access to internet (I almost die ;-).
Well, even if you say this song was sung with lebanes accent (which I cannot identify) I can feel that this guy speaks different to the egyptian songs are used (although I listen a lot to lebanese singers... for me lebanes and egyptian are quite similar). Well, I can hear this guy pronounce sounds harder (Qaf, as an axample), but i need to listen to it in more detaille. I try to download the songs you recomend me, but i just could find the ones from Kazem, the other one i cannot.
So, if you were so kind, you could translate for me Madrasat al hub, so that i can hear pure iraquian accent ;-). You know, i was having arabic lessons for a while with an iraquian guy, but it was at the very beggining and i didnt know a word of arabic, so i could not judge how his acent was.

Thank you again, for the translations and for the tips,

    Laura

    You`re welcome Azizam!
    hope u enjoyed ur weekend.
I know u find the egyptian and lebanese songs similar, thats because about 70% of the lebanese singers sing in egyptian accent!
and about Kazem, you can find him use the harder letters because Iraqis is the only people that can pronounce all the Arabic letters, there are some letters that is hard to pronounce, neither egyptian nor lebanese can spell it.
about Madrasat il hub, its not an Iraqi accent, its a Formal Arabic, that is used in formal speech,literature,....,etc.
I will translate it for u soon
it`ll be nice if u recomend some spanish love songs,(I like touching music, rich with harmonies),I`m sure u can give me good choices, for example, I like La donna by Julio Iglesias,Calaverada and Un amor for Gipsy Kings,Gloria Esteffan`s songs in general,Jose feliciano and I love Armic Music.

Take care mi Amiga, Fee Aman Allah (God bless or goodbye in Arabic

    Dear Laura,

    sorry for being late.

this is ur song, hope u enjoy it,the theme of the song is about the love and sadness, its written by the legendary poet Nizar Qabbani (lebanese)
i think he is the best, and he`s not traditional in his writings, hope u like it.

by the way the singing is in the formal Arabic no accent!

I`ve listened to all the songs that u recomended,I liked como el agua and soy gitano the most,
also i liked Los Fabulosos Cadillacs ,they are a good band,

if u got more songs to recommend, especially, love songs,go ahead

    Thanx alooooot mi Amiga

THE SCHOOL OF LOVE – BY KAZEM AL SAHER

Your love taught me to be sad
And for ages I needed a woman to make me feel sad
I needed a woman to cry in her arms, like a bird
Ur love taught me, taught me…..

I needed a woman to re unite me like a shattered glass

Your love, my lady, taught me the worst habits
Taught me to read my horoscope thousands times a night

To try the old fashioned oriental medicine, to knock on the witches doors
To go out of my own home and walk along the sideways
To search for your face in the rain and in the car lights
And to pick millions of stars out of your eyes

Oh lady, you made the world feel dizzy,
    My pain, my fluit pain

Your love, my lady, introduced me to the cities of sadness
And I haven’t been there before
I didn’t know before u that the tears is the human himself
And a human being is not alive if he doesn’t feel sad

Your love taught me to act like a child
To paint ur face on the walls
U made my history upside down; I'm slaughtered from vain to vain

Ur love taught me how love changes the map of the times
Taught me that when I'm in love, the world stop revolving

Ur love taught me things Ive never been thinking of
I read kids novels, I entered the genies king palaces
I dreamt that I`m married to the Sultan's daughter

Ur eyes are more pure than the gulfs water
Ur lips are sweeter than grenadine's flowers

    I dreamt that I kidnapped u like a knight
And I gave u necklace of pearl and Marjan(kind of gem)

Ur love taught me to talk while I'm asleep
Taught me how I grow old and the sultan's daughter not showing up

Your love ,my lady, introduced me to the cities of sadness
    And I haven’t been there before u
I didn’t know before u that the tears is the human himself
And a human being is not alive if he doesn’t feel sad
