Talking Does a chicken have lips?

I am looking for the lyrics/title and artist who did a song, I think it was from the 50`s or early 60`s that had the lyrics: does a chicken have lips, does a rattlesnake have hips, can an elephant make a living blowing bubbles through his nose? anyone got a clue to this one????

    Thanks

The only thing I find is a song titled "Searching for the Truth" by Balance of Power. It lists those lines as the lyrics to the song. See the link.

    Default Song title found

if you're still here, the song title is Just Blow in His Ear, and it was by David Wilkins. They have it on iTunes, if you have a MP3 converter.

Here are the lyrics (the way my grandpa sang it). If you want his audio version, e-mail me and I will send it to you. wade.covington@gmail.com
    G
In the spring of 1862, twelve miles from Omaha

I met three ladies and a preacherman on their way to Wichitaw
    C
They were riding a camel on a big side saddle, gettin high on the baby ruth
    D G (RUN)
I heard 'em say as they rode away, we're searching for the truth

    Does a chicken have lips?
    C
    Does a rattlesnake have hips?
    G
Can a elephant make a living
    D
    Blowing bubbles through his nose
    G
If a blind man can stare
    C
Can a bald man comb his hair?

Well just blow in his ear,
    And he'll follow you anywhere

When they got to Salt Lake City,
    That dust was pourin down
Three ladies and a reverend on a camel back,
    Rode up to that town
    Stopped in down town, Utah
broke a seal on a tube of glue
I heard one say as she sniffed away
    We're searchin for the truth

    Does a chicken have lips?
    Does a rattlesnake have hips?
Can a elephant make a living
    Blowing bubbles through his nose
    If your boyfriend grows hair
And starts sleeping in your chair

    Just blow in his ear
    and he'll follow you anywhere

    [spoken]
Told you it's crazy before I started
I don't understand it at all

By the time they got to Wichitaw
That camel was about to break
Atop him rode an elephant, a chicken and a big ole snake
Two kangaroos a **** a doodle doo and a case of baby ruth
I heard em say as they rode away
we're still searching for the truth

    Does a chicken have lips?
    Does a rattlesnake have hips?
Can a elephant make a living
    Blowing bubbles through his nose
    If you have burlap underwear
    Your complexion won't be fair

    Just blow in his ear
    and he'll follow you anywhere

    [spoken]

Bothers me everytime I sing this song
Don't even know what they're searching for
Don't know if they found it or not
Ain't that like a damn preacher though?
    Three ladies on a camel
Probably beggin for money all the way along the way, I don't know
    What about that poor camel
Wonder if they ever give him any water?
They say they go a long time without water
Store it in that hump up there
Them women probably taking turns jumpin up and down on that hump
Wonder how they got up on that camel in the first place?
Probably just blew in his ear and hopped up on the damn thing and away they went
Boy I wish I hadn't sang this song
I'll worry about that all night long
Well hell, let's just forget it

The chords didn't line up right, but you get the point.
