    70's or 80's song. Contains lyric "Wild Thing, I think I Love You"
    This was played at some Mets games in the 80's when the pitcher Randy Johnson was up.

    P.S. The original belongs to The Wild Ones, but this one is the most popular version (recorded in 1966)

    "Wild Thing" was written by Chip Taylor (aka James Wesley Voight), the brother of Jon Voight and uncle to Angelina Jolie and James Haven.

    the original "wild thing" was done in the 60's by a group named "the troggs"

    If you read this thread you will see that the original was recorded by The Wild Ones [in 1965] - The Troggs cover was in 1966.

    Most people think the Troggs was the original. [wrongly]
