Unhappy Need a song to explain how i feel... i think i love someone that lives VERY far

HI guys... the thing is.... i met a guy in September, last year... he became my friend... i really appreciate him and i felt it was different with him. He is really into music, and cause of him i know songs like saliva, "Always", or Kamelot, "Karma", Taproot "April suits", Opeth and Sentenced

Last time i talked with him was long ago, i don't know a thing of him... and i feel really sad. The problem is that he lives in the other side of the world...

I know it sounds stupid but it REALLY was different with him... i think now he's really busy with all his band thing... i just need a song to express how i feel now... a song like those i told you, like rock, metal, that kind...

    thanksss

Not a recent song and it's soft/easy listening rock genre
But the lyrics very apropos for your situation

"So Far Away" by Carole King
    So far away
Doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
Doesn't help to know you're just time away
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Its soft metal.... but it a wonderful song. Try:

    beautiful - Disciple

"The light hits my eyes in the first in the morning"
"How one lovely thing can be balanced"
"When you come out, i see just how beautiful you are"
The media loves their latest tragic suicide,
They exploit it, then patened it,
And profit from the people who died.

    I Miss You- Blink 182?
"Where are you and I'm so sorry
I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight
    I need somebody and always...
    Like indecision to call you
And hear your voice of treason
Will you come home and stop this pain tonight
    stop this pain tonight"

Try Angels by Within Temptation. I think it sounds nice. Im not one for love songs though. I just listen to songs for how they sound. And this song sounds kind of like it. So yeah, you can try that but Im not sure its what your looking for.
If no one has attempted it, it will remain impossible.

Tell me what kind of music does he hear, and I will find for you a Greek song (maybe you will feel closer to him that way)

    Well... he listens to Sentenced,Monster Magnet,Spiritual Beggars,Paradise Lost,Strapping Young Lad,Machine Head,Katatonia,Opeth,Fields of the nephilim,Anathema... etc...

His favorite song is Excuse me while i kill myself, by Sentenced. He "introduced me" Saliva, "Always", Alice Cooper "¨Poison", Anathema "One Last Goodbye", Taproot "April Suits", Kamelot "Karma". And i really liked all those songs.

If you can find something will be great! thankss!!

About the song you could try Nick Cave-Do you love me?
Nick Cave& Kylie Minogue -Where the wild roses grow
Timoria - Sole spento (Italian, talks about the emptiness inside even if you always carry him/her inside of you)

I've wrote to you shy.sushi the translation of the song:

I am writing to you again because I'm in need
at five o'clock in the morning
    the only thing that remains
standing in the world, is you.

    What good are their honors
    the words of those acts
in the screen of my mind
    (they are) dead paper idols.

Love me, as much as you can, love me

    Looking into the mirror
    I see a familiar face
    whose uggliness might go away
    once I wash and shave

The breath stinks from the cigaretts
my brain is being overencumberred from the many thought
on the wall there is some Mona Liza
    who brings you even closer

Love me, as much as you can, love me

Although this letter is nearing its end
    my need does not stop
like the bird on a wire
like a bum that ghoes around

I want you to come and light up(most probably cigarette, the same expression in Greek is used for 'you turn me on')
    to tell me the fairytale,
to hug me like mother earth
like a white light to return
