Help, No idea what song is called

Hi
I heard a song at work the other night, and i loved it, but i dont know who sings it and i dont know what its called. I only know one line of the lyrics, and im not sure ive even got them right lol. I also know that it is a guy singing it. The lyrics i think i know are "I say hey...thats what i say" . Its not a real fast song but its not that slow either. Im guessing its an older song.
Anyways any help or even suggestions in which you think it might be would be great cause its been driving me nuts that i cant find out anywhere
