    Oops my bad...

When I was looking for "Song2", I has no luck finding the the lyrics. So I started looking for song titles like "I'm So Glad" and "Save(d) my Soul", listened to any available samples with those titles. I did run across numerous 1990 period songs by west and north Europian artists that had a suedo-sixties' sound. I did not find a match but some the samples were too short (30 seconds) to make a clear determination.

For "Song1", I also struck-out on googling the lyrics and doing a title/sample search.

Thanks a lot. I run into the same difficulties, I tried everything, every bit of the lyrics.

Lesser known bands should post their lyrics on the internet, there are so many people googling lyrics these days...

Have you tried Myspace? You may have better luck if you login directly.

Song no. 2 has been solved by Danny Wilde and kopper at the garagepunk.com forum. It's King Khan & His Shrines - "Killer Diller" from the split LP they did with the Dirtbombs, "Billiards at Nine Thirty" (2004).

i still have no clue regarding song no. 1.

Song1 is The Nein - 'Foreign Friendster'

I came about the answer in the most roundabout way.

I googled (actually yahooed) "though i hate to see you go i love to watch you leave" and got this myspace site: www.myspace.com/spillfiction

The quote is right next to Erika's picture. Actually it's a cheap pick-up line and was also used in the film 'Face/Off", with John Travolta. Without much hope i messaged Erika:

'I'm searching for a song with the lyrics "though i hate to see you go i love to watch you leave ". Do you happen to know it?

    Here's a audio clip:

    Thanks for your help.

    Best wishes,
    Luís Oliveira'

    She replied:

'The band is called The Nein. They have a self-titled Ep and a full length called The Wrath of Circuits. They're amazing.
    www.myspace.com/thenein

    erika'

And so, thanks to Erika, case closed.

Thanks to all who tried to help.
