    Red face Can anyone tell me who sang this song

    OK, i've been looking for this CD for years but i can't remember the title of the song or the artist. It is a mid eighties song i beleive around '84 or '85. Some of the lyrics go like this,"We're gonna have a knock out, drag out rockin roll party in the street". well thats all i have any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    "ROCK AND ROLL PARTY IN THE STREETS"

    might be a cover tune, but there was also a song called Rock N Roll Party in the Street by a group called Axe. It was from their "Offering" album from 1981. Hope this helps!
