Default De Vez En Mes--Ricardo Arjona

Here are the spanish lyrics to De Vez en Mes por Ricardo Arjona...anyone got a translation? I love him so much, but his lyrics can be complicated sometimes!

De vez en mes te haces artista,
    dejando un cuadro impresionista
    debajo del edredón.

De vez en mes con tu acuarela,
    pintas girones de ciruela
que van a dar hasta el colchón.

Si es natural cuando eres dama,
que pintes rosas en la cama
una vez de vez en mes.

    De vez en mes
    una cigüeña se suicida,
y ahí estás tú tan deprimida
    buscándole una explicación.
    De vez en mes
el cielo te roba el milagro,
el tiempo te hace un calendario
de una vez, de vez en mes.
    De vez en mes
tú me propones huelga de hambre,
    yo algo de imaginación.

De vez en mes la luna nueva,
viene a quitar lo que renueva
    y a colocar otra ilusión.

De vez en mes soy invisible,
    para intentar en lo posible
    no promover tu mal humor.

    hi,

I tried my best, but it wasn't easy. His lyrics never are: that's why i love them so much I suppose. I hope I captured most of the meanings.
I would really apreciate it if someone made some corrections or additions.

De vez en mes (once a month)

Once a month you pretend to be an artist
    Leaving an impressionistic painting
Under the blanket (edredon: quilt stuffed with the down of the eider duck)

Once a month with your aquarelle
You paint “girones de ciruela” (ciruela means plum; girones anyone ???)
Which will even reach the mattress

    But it’s natural when you’re a lady
For you to paint roses in the bed
    One time once a month

    Once a month
    A stork commits suicide
And there you are, so depressed
    Looking for an explanation
    Once a month
    The heavens rob your miracle
    Time made you a calendar
All at once, once a month
    Once a month
You put forward a hunger strike,
    And I some imagination

Once a month the new moon
Comes to get what he renews
And to place a new illusion

    Once a month I’m invisible,
    To try if it’s possible
Not to provoke your bad temper

Once a month there’s no one who can stand you
    Going away is a sin
And if I stay it’s even a greater one

And even if there’s a compulsory break,
And the heavens make a purgatory for you
I love you more, once a month

    Once a month
Your belly practices to be a cradle
Your temper depends on the moon
And I want you a little more

    Once a month
It make you want to take a siesta
But your hormones want to party
And I’m always the one to blame

    Once a month
There’s no clock other than your body,
There’s no light other than your shining
    Once a month

    Once a month

The spanish word is "jirones". So the translation is "You paint shreds of plum". Quite poetical metaphor to refer to the blood from the menstruation...
