    Red face Christian Mariachi Music

    I need to find some Spanish Christian Mariachi songs and for our new bi-lingual services. Can anyone help me? I need them in both Spanish and English. Any Christian contemporary music that originated from spanish (or at the music sounds "Spanish") would be welcome, too.

    I would really truly appreciate it! I am the Pastor's wife and the Music Minister.

    Thanks! Gracias!

    Grata Certeza (Blessed Assurance)

    Grata certeza; ˇ soy de Jesús!
    Hecho heredero de eterna salud,
    Su sangre pudo mi alma librar
    De pena eterna y darme la paz.

    CORO :
    Esta es mi historia y es mi canción,
    gloria a Jesús por su salvación,
    Aun para mi fue su redención:
    ˇBendita historia, bella canción!

    Siempre sumiso a su voluntad,
    glorias celestes empiezo a gustar;
    Cuanto más cerca sigo al Seńor
    Más goza mi alma su amplio perdón.

    Siempre confiando, encuentro en Jesús
    Paz, alegría, descanso y salud;
    Del cielo mi alma llega a gozar,
    Mientras a Cristo logra mirar.

    eh! Make sure you say "Grata Certeza and not Grata Cerveza

    TODO A CRISTO (I Surrender All)

    Todo a Cristo yo me rindo, lo que tengo, lo que soy.
    Pues le amo, en Él confío, por su gracia al cie - lo voy.

    Todo a Cristo me presento cual humilde servidor,
    Y mi vida le ofrendo, pues al mundo muerto soy.

    Todo cuanto tengo, todo lo que soy,
    ¡Oh, Señor, a Ti me ofrezco
    y me rindo hoy!

    Ni un paso sin su ayuda tengo fuerzas para dar,
    Su promesa me asegura: “Bástate mi gracia ya”.

    Su Espíritu divino me consuela, me da paz;
    Me sostiene con cariño y por fin veré su faz.

    Default Favorite Himns

    I am looking for the translation of the himns in Spanish of famous himns, such as Amazing Grace, The Old Rugged Cross, Blessed Assurance, It is well with my soul, etc. Can anyone direct me to that? I have searched in Spanish but I cannot find them.

    Thank you so much.

    Check out this website: http://www.himnosevangelicos.com/

    The only problem is that there are SOOOO many hymns to look through! Also, this website is in Spanish which may be a problem for some.

    Here is "It is Well with My Soul" or "Alcance Salvacion" from the above website.

    Alcancé salvación

    De paz inundada mi senda ya esté,
    O cúbrala un mar de aflicción,
    Mi suerte cualquiera que sea, diré:
    Alcancé, alcancé salvación.

    Coro:
    Alcancé salvación.
    Alcancé, alcancé salvación.

    Ya venga la prueba o me tiente Satán,
    No amenguan mi fe ni mi amor;
    Pues Cristo comprende mis luchas, mi afán
    Y su sangre vertió en mi favor.

    -Coro-

    Feliz yo me siento al saber que Jesús,
    Libróme de yugo opresor;
    Quitó mi pecado, clavólo en la cruz:
    Gloria demos al buen Salvador.

    -Coro-

    La fe tornaráse en gran realidad
    Al irse la niebla veloz;
    Desciende Jesús con su gran majestad,
    ¡Aleluya! Estoy bien con mi Dios.

    -Coro-

    Default Broken link?

    I am also a pastor's wife and worship leader (as someone upthread said she was, and our church is in a bilingual area. I am bilingual, but greatly daunted at the prospect of translating lyrics to our favorite worship music and hymns as it is somewhat different from teaching in a bilingual classroom or doing bilingual assessments at school

    Please tell me that the link is back working.... I am so looking forward to ministering more appropriately to the spanish speaking members of our congregation!!!!

    Thank you for the resources!

    Smile Help me with these lyrics please

    I've been writing a amount of Spanish Worship songs, but I've got I wiriters block, and can't get the first verse right. I asked my Spanish friends they really don't know. Its the first verse. I'd like to say:

    The first time I became happy, is when You entered my life.

    I wrote: 'La primera vez que era feliz, ero cuando Tu entraste en mi vida'

    The first part is not right. I've came up with:

    'Mi primer momento de felicidad, ero cuando Tu entraste en mi vida'

    Please help me get it right! It's the start of the song, and the rest of the song is finished, only the first part seems to be a nightmare, though it's about happiness...

    The 2nd line sounds much better, but it should read:

    "Mi primer momento de felicidad era cuando Tú entraste a mi vida"

    Just a few minor details, but otherwise, it looks good

    I think it would sound better like this:

    Fui feliz por primera vez, cuando entraste en mi vida.

    The new lyrics are:
    Por primera vez pude ser feliz, cuando entraste a mi vida. Spanish friends helped me finish it, since I'm allmost ready making a Spanish CD. Thanks anyway.

    Default Translation Please =] Brooke Fraser - Shadowfeet

    Hello...and God bless you all.... would someone please help me translate Brooke Fraser's song Shadowfeet to spanish?....thank you

    Shadowfeet lyrics

    Walking,stumbling on these shadowfeet
    toward home,a land that i've never seen
    I am changing: less and less asleep
    made of different stuff than when i began
    and i have sensed it all along
    fast approaching is the day

    [CHORUS]
    when the world has fallen out from under me
    I'll be found in you, still standing
    when the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees
    when time and space are through
    I'll be found in you

    Theres distraction buzzing in my head
    saying in the shadows it's easier to stay
    but I've heard rumours of true reality
    whispers of a well-lit way

    [CHORUS]

    You make all things new

    [CHORUS]

    [CHORUS 2]
    When the world has fallen out from under me
    I'll be found in you, still standing
    Every fear and accusation under my feet
    when time and space are through
    I'll be found in you
