That’s Life



There you are now
Don’t ask how
Going through the years
Like long forgotten fears


Walking down the road
Don’t know where to go
The light starts shining
And the people start whining


Left my home
Went to Rome
But never really got anywhere
Met new people, forgot their names
Didn’t have much fun at the fair
Well life’s like that


You start with high expectations
End up just going through life’s rotations
Yeah life’s like that
But the way is now clear


Clear as a bell ringing
Clear as a little girl singing
You gotta just wing it
Yeah you gotta just sing it


Walking down the road
I now know where to go
The light starts shining
The people stop crying
My soul stops dying
And my heart starts flying


Life’s not a plan you have to live to the exact
You got to learn to live life or it’ll be gone just like that.

This is a nice little ditty. It needs a chorus I think. Without the chorus, it reads more like a poem. But still, nice lyrics, I just wish I could hear music with it.

I agree, there is no chorus, but these are her/his first lyrics she/he ever wrote. I like this one too, even as your songs "Lost Without You" and "Bleeding life away"! Very nice!
